Enhanced Search Functionality in Chat Tool

Hi Team,
I’ve noticed a limitation in the current chat search functionality that I believe could be improved. When I search for a word or phrase within the chat section, the tool only seems to search through the names of the people in the chat, not the actual conversation content.
There are times when I recall saying something specific to a customer, but I can’t remember exactly who it was. In apps like WhatsApp, I can search for a keyword and it brings up the exact message across different chats — this kind of functionality would be really helpful here as well.
It would be great if the search could include the message content, not just the customer names. This would make it much easier to locate specific interactions quickly and improve efficiency.

We are feeling completely stuck with DoubleTick — it has become more of a setback than an upgrade.
Basic features like search are missing, and we end up wasting the entire day just trying to find old chats.
We switched from the WhatsApp Business App to the API expecting a smoother, more powerful workflow, but the reality has been the opposite.
Even simple functionalities such as bot triggers from images don’t work.
Without these basic developments, the overall experience feels like a disaster, not an improvement. After all, what’s the use of automation and bots if we can’t even filter, manage, or prioritize potential leads properly?
We genuinely expected the platform to enhance productivity — not slow us down.

Any basic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software must have a search option, so you can easily find an enquiry or message by entering keywords. If your CRM or WhatsApp integration software does not have a search option, then it becomes very difficult because thousands of inquiries are received every day. Keyword wise filtering without search is almost impossible.

Add Keyword Search to Find Chats in Double Tick

Currently, it’s difficult to locate a specific chat thread in Double Tick without manually scrolling through conversations. Introducing a keyword-based search feature will enable users to quickly find past chats, messages, or leads by simply typing a keyword, or phrase. This will save time, improve productivity, and enhance user experience, especially for businesses handling a large volume of customer interactions.

Search option to quickly locate any data

Hello DoubleTick Team, A basic CRM must provide a search option to quickly locate any data — orders, chats and customer interactions. Your system currently lacks this capability, which is causing major problems with our order filtering and processing. We are unable to search orders efficiently and this is disrupting operations. We request the immediate development and deployment of a robust search engine that includes: Keyword search across orders, chat messages and customer profiles; Filters such as Order ID, Customer Name, Date Range, Product, Order Status; Ability to search chat transcripts and attachments (if feasible); Reasonable response times and role-based access control. If this cannot be implemented promptly, we will be forced to evaluate other CRM providers. Please confirm the actions you will take and an expected timeline for delivery. Regards, Chetan Jain
